Join us on our journey through the war-torn land of Kotheros. Choose your faction of either Condors or Ocelots or the mysterious Goatverlords in the campaign and strengthen your armies for total domination of the continent. Online battles pit your best units against your friends and others from around the world and will be possible with all of your help.
Titanomachy Studios is currently working on the single player experience. Now we are going to make this is as amazing as possible, however we also know that in today's society as much as a single player experience is important, a multiplayer experience is just as important. If we meet our funding goals, we will be able to add multiplayer options so you and your friends can compete! Which army will come out on top? You will decide.
They've fought for generations. Settlements lie in ruins, refugees flee across ravaged landscapes, while bandits prey upon the weak. And still the Condors and Ocelots wage war. But now a new faction appears amid the chaos of this broken world, and everything changes in an instant. The Goatverlords promise to destroy anyone in their path. To seize the land for themselves. Can the Condors and Ocelots unite to fend them off? And how long can an alliance between ancient enemies last?
The basic game play is isometric turn-based Strategy Role Playing Game (SRPG) with consequences at its core. The player controls an army of purchased units that vary in strengths and weaknesses. These units also have abilities that are highly customizable with what we are calling ‘mutagens.’ These mutagens modify the abilities in which units use, changing the overall effect of said ability.
The consequences lie within your choices as a player, if a unit falls in combat you only have a limited amount of lives before that unit effectively dies. Therefore you have to recruit a new unit, or use in-game currency for revives etc. Also, units also gain experience from actually participating in kills, adding more choices. As you progress in the game, your units level up through maps. Those units will gain ability points, which you may allocate where you wish and use to change abilities. This customization allows you to play with the army you wish.
A plethora of levels takes your army across the continent to put an end to thousand year old feud and maybe meet a few new friends along the way. Our hope here is that having multiple campaigns will let those who enjoy a single player RPG experience get their fill without being forced into the multiplayer and then of course with the online battles we can fulfill that social need we all have to destroy our enemies! While there will be an element of Perma-death in the single player campaign for units, online units will be spared this and simply knocked out after each battle.
